Elder Gerrit W. Gong
Come to the Lord in His Holy House
Quorum of the Twelve
In brief
Elder Gong lays out three doctrinal foundations for temple worship: eternal families, moral agency, and the Holy Spirit of Promise, which makes honored covenants binding. He then describes a "personal temple culture": attending more often as temples come closer, bringing family names, speaking of every temple with gratitude rather than as big or small, and, where possible, owning one's own temple clothes. He tells of members whose hearts softened toward difficult family members through temple work for them.
