October 2026 General Conference › Themes › Witness
Witness and invitation
Testimony is democratized: every member is cast as a witness whose simple words carry power, anchored to apostolic witness and an invitation extended to all people.
A lens for pondering what was said, found through careful coding. Not an official summary; read the talks themselves for the full message. How it works“it only needs to be true”
What this theme is about
Witness runs from the top down (apostolic witness, a family that sailed through a storm to hear an Apostle) and from the bottom up (a niece's two sentences, a Primary child's song, a 25-minute Sunday School lesson). President Oaks extends the invitation to all nations and teaches that grace is for all, on conditions the Savior has set. This was the pattern we noticed in the most talks: 25 of 37.
