Elder Gérald Caussé
The Gift of Testimony
Quorum of the Twelve
In brief
Elder Caussé, recalling the scripture that comforted him at two calls to serve, teaches that bearing witness of Jesus Christ belongs not only to apostles but to every disciple who has taken His name by covenant. A testimony need not be long or eloquent, only true; his niece's two-sentence testimony at camp is his example. He invites everyone to look daily for brief, natural chances to share their witness, linking "I know" and "I love you" as expressions of the same gift.
