Elder Edward Dube
Come unto Christ
Presidency of the Seventy
In brief
Elder Dube recalls that in 1987 then-Elder Oaks had a "Trespassers will be prosecuted" sign removed from a mission office gate, teaching him that all are invited to come unto Christ. From Moroni he draws three truths: come, deny yourselves of ungodliness, and be perfected in Him, since we come to Christ to be perfected rather than perfecting ourselves first. A brother struggling to quit smoking set a temple sealing date and was sealed two months later, and Elder Dube invites each listener to help one person come unto Christ.
